In this sermon, we are reminded that a good pastor is defined not simply by what he does, but by the spiritual qualities God has established in His Word. As we look at 1 Timothy 4:6–10, we are challenged to value faithful study of God’s Word, intentional spiritual growth, and a high standard of godliness for both pastors and the congregation. A healthy church is one where pastors lead intentionally and believers intentionally pursue growth together. Ultimately, our hope is not in a pastor or a program—it is in God, who is faithful to strengthen and sustain His church.
